“Cucumber Pachdi” is a popular side dish made down south in India.
“Pachdi/Pachadi” is a simple raita. It’s made with curds and some sort of vegetable/ fruits and spices. This raita is served with main meals as an accompaniment.
But today, we aren’t talking about pachdi. We are talking about this amazing Pachdi drink that I tasted sometime last year at Mahesh Lunch Home.
The cucumber Pachdi that they served was cooling, refreshing, beautifully spiced, and perfect for summer.
So finally, I decided to recreate the drink in my kitchen using local cucumber, homemade curds, and spice.
- Mixing bowl
- 2 Medium Cucumbers preferably green cucumber

- Add all the ingredients in the mixer and blend into paste.
- Serve in a glass with ice.
