Cucumber Pachdi Drink: A twist to the classic

“Cucumber Pachdi” is a popular side dish from South India.

“Pachdi/Pachadi” is a simple raita made with curds and some sort of vegetable/fruit and spices, this raita is served with main meals as an accompaniment.

But today, we aren’t talking about pachdi. We are talking about this amazing Pachdi drink that I tasted sometime last year at Mahesh Lunch Home.

The cucumber Pachdi that they served was cooling, refreshing, beautifully spiced, and perfect for summer.

So finally, I decided to recreate the drink in my kitchen using local cucumber, homemade curds, and spice.
