Hummus, as you know, is a dip that I thoroughly enjoy. The best part is it can easily go with any wrap, cracker, or vegetable. With the lockdown, though hummus was made frequently bringing a twist to it was equally important.

That led to a new variant using available ingredients.

Tomato Hummus Recipe:

This is a simple dip with the perfect Indian touch.

Equipment

  • Mixer/ Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 1 large Tomato Fire roasted
  • 1 cup Chick peas Boiled
  • 2 tbsp Sesame
  • 5-6 cloves Garlic
  • 1-2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Water

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients to the mixer/food processor.
  • Blend it till it become thick creamy paste.
  • Serve it with Crackers or wrap or meeze bowl

Apart from this also do try my Spinach hummus, beetroot hummus, and roasted carrot hummus.
