Chocolate pancakes : An eggless version

Chocolate Pancakes are absolutely delicious. Simple to make, easy to serve, and scrumptious.

Here is a quick and simple recipe for Chocolate Pancakes:

                          Chocolate Pancakes

 Ingredients:

Rolled Oats: 1 cup, finely powdered

Milk: 3/4-1 cup

Yogurt/Curd:3tbsp

Cocoa: 2 tbsp

Powdered Sugar: 1 tbsp

Baking powder: 1 Tsp

Vanilla essence: 1 Tsp

Salt: a pinch

Oil/Butter

Procedure to make Chocolate pancakes:
  • Take the powdered rolled oats, cocoa, baking powder, powdered sugar, and salt together.
  • Mix them properly.
  • Add in the wet ingredients to the dry ones like milk, curd/yogurt, and vanilla essence.
  • Mix all the ingredients properly and let it stand for a few minutes.
  • Heat a pan, pour the oil or apply the butter and then pour the pancake batter.
  • Let one side cook then flip it over so the other side browns.
  • Place it on a plate, drizzle some chocolate sauce and sprinkle some nuts.
Note:
  • Instead of the chocolate sauce, I have used grated dark chocolate.
  • Instead of using just nuts, I’ve used almonds and unsweetened cranberry.
  • If you have kids at home, let them plate their pancakes. Make sure you give them healthy drizzles like various nuts, dried fruits, fresh berries, or fruits. Food plating plays a very important role when it comes to kids.
