Lime Kassia or Orange lime and its uses

Lime Kassia or Orange Lime, I still remember the first time I saw it. They were such gorgeous green beauties that I bought almost a dozen of them. But little did I know that I was in for a surprise cause when I cut them they looked like oranges. Over the years, now its a regular ingredient at my place.

Appearance:

Lime Kassia are green on the outside and orange on the inside.

Appearance & Taste:

They look like mini oranges but taste like lemons.

Usage:

It tastes great in salad dressings, dinks, pickles ( sweet), or jam.

Availability:

Not easily available in markets.

Nutritional content:

Rich in vitamin C, fibre and antioxidants.
