My main areas of work include general and holistic health, Mental health, Gut issues, PCOD, Diabetes, sports nutrition, etc. I’ve been helping people to achieve their health and fitness goals for the last 14 years.
Apart from this I also am into nutrition blogging, recipe creation, and menu planning.
A little bit about me so you know me a bit better 🙂
I am one of those few blessed ones who found her passion early on in life. I also got the opportunity to make my passion into my profession.
My world revolves around food.
Academically, I have done graduation in Food, Nutrition, and Dietetics. Following this, I did a Masters in Dietetics and Food Service Management. I have also done my MBA in Healthcare Management.
Apart from this, I am a Certified Diabetic Educator, Bariatric Nutritionist, and Nutrigenomics Counsellor, and trained in FODMAP at Monash University ( Australia). Some of the other courses that I’ve done include a certificate course in Food Processing & Preservation, Food Safety training, and certification in yoga, beauty therapy, and medical palmistry.
Professionally speaking, I have worked with several leading Hospitals, Sports clubs, Fitness centers, Hotels, and gyms and handled various positions like food consultant, nutrition counselor, visiting consultant, lecturer, and others.
My biggest dream to date was also to set up my clinic. Currently, that is exactly what I do. I have my clinic in Borivali ( Mumbai) wherein I do one-on-one consultations and family consultations. When I am not in consultation I am busy conducting workshops, seminars, and tv shows or writing food articles.
Apart from this, I am a black belt in karate (Shotokan: Tiger style). I have been a theatre person with some theater shows to my credit. My other passions include writing, cooking, trekking, painting, reading, crafting, and gardening.
So that is about me and my journey.
